Cookie Policy

Our analytics is cookieless and requires no consent. Advertising tracking is opt-in only. We do not set a single tracking cookie without your explicit permission, and rejecting the consent banner means no advertising cookie is ever placed.

Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Fathom does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track individuals across websites. It is fully GDPR, ePrivacy, PECR and CCPA compliant. No consent is required because no personal data is processed.

Essential cookies

This website may set essential cookies required for basic functionality, such as security or form submission. These are strictly necessary and do not require consent.

Advertising (with your consent)

When you accept the consent banner, we load Google Ads tracking (account AW-18231580620) so we can measure which of our paid campaigns send useful visitors to the site. Google Ads sets a first-party tracking cookie on your browser. We do not use this for retargeting or audience-building. It exists to attribute conversions back to specific ad campaigns.

If you reject the consent banner, the Google Ads script is never loaded and the advertising cookie is never set. Your choice is stored for 12 months in a first-party cookie called hk-consent. You can clear that cookie at any time in your browser settings to see the banner again.

Consent storage

The hk-consent cookie records your choice on the consent banner (accepted or rejected). It is a first-party cookie, set on the thehumankind.co domain only, with a 12-month expiry. It is the only cookie we set without asking you first, because it exists so we can remember not to ask you again.
